Mission Statement

The Junior Ballet Ensemble is dedicated to bringing joy through community service dance performances to under privileged and under served audiences and to promote growth, understanding and appreciation of the art of dance.

• The JBE reaches audiences not able to come to a theatre (due to lack of funding physical, mental, or age limitations, etc).
• Brings a variety of dance forms to its audience and a sense of caring and community to those on the fringe.
• Gives the audience a sense of their cultural heritage, a feeling of continuity and connection with something greater than themselves.
• Enriches the lives of the audience members by exposing them to quality dance performances.
• Promotes understanding and appreciation for the art of dance.
• Instills in the dance students the understanding of their priveleged place in society and their moral obligation to serve the less priveleged.
